The Department of Health Science at California State University Fullerton has been designated as a Multiple Event Provider of Continuing Education for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. The review activity requires reading selected articles from each issue of The Californian Journal of Health Promotion and submitting answers to a series of questions related to the content of the articles. The answers to the questions are to be sent via mail or e-mail to the address listed below:

Upon successful completion of each activity, NCHEC Continuing Education Contact Hours (Category 1) will be awarded by the Department of Health Science, California State University Fullerton for the appropriate number of credits.
Directions
- Read the articles listed in the review activity section.
- Answer the review article questions on a separate sheet of 8.5 x 11 paper. Questions will be descriptive in nature so please be prepared to write 2-3 paragraphs to support your answer. Only typed papers will be accepted. Please make sure your name; address; name and number of the activity issue; and CHES #’s are at the top of the paper.
- Print and complete both the Californian Journal of Health Promotion registration form and the Activity Evaluation form.
- Each article will be worth a maximum of 2 credits . Send your answer sheet, the registration form, the evaluation form, and a check for $10 per each credit (e.g. $20 per 2 credits, $40 per 4 credits, $60 per 6 credits, etc.) made payable to: CSU Cashiers. After a review of the answer sheets, an e-mail certificate of notification will be provided for the appropriate number of Category 1 Contact Hours will be sent to participants who successfully complete the activity. Answers that are complete and well-thought out will receive 2 credits (90% or higher). Answer sheets needing further work for approval will be returned to the participants with specific suggestions for completion.
